A seaside walk
Camí la Mar and Vereda Mangraners
The main access routes to Puçol’s beach are by the Camí la Mar and the Vereda Mangraners. These beach access points were reformed in 2014 as part of a tourist development plan for our beach, with a cost of over €3.5 million, financed in its totality by the Regional Government of Valencia (Generalitat Valenciana).
The €3,748,000 invested have made it possible to transform an area formerly exclusively for cars into a pedestrian and wheelchair accessible area. The old access route has been separated into two purposes: on one hand the Vereda Mangraners, which is four metres wide, is used for agricultural purposes, as a cycle-lane and a pedestrian walkway; on the other hand, the road used for vehicles has been reformed, following a redesigned route and the resurfaced Camí La Mar.

Sun holidays
Puçol beach offers you different possibilities, from diving activities to moments of total tranquillity under the warm sun of the Mediterranean, all supported by three distinctions of quality
The warm Mediterranean waters
Puçol beach has been awarded Blue Flag, a Q tourist quality award and the Qualitur seal in recent years, guaranteeing the quality of its sand, water and services.
Bathed by the Mediterranean and refreshed by the Levante breeze, Puçol offers visitors over two kilometres of fine sandy beach, protected by breakwaters and bordered from north to south by a newly built pedestrian-only sea promenade, which opened in 2005.
The beach has a medium-to-low density of visitors, which makes it possible to enjoy the sunshine and sea in peace and tranquillity. It also offers all comforts and services in convenient facilities, without any high-rise buildings to overshadow its beauty.
Out to sea, barely a hundred metres from Puçol beach, scuba diving fans will find a rocky seabed. Anyone who wishes to discover our beach’s seabed can contact the Trotafons Diving Club to find out about its activities.
If you wish to escape from crowded beaches and queues for eating, showering or playing beach volleyball or football, you must try the tranquillity of our beach.
Our beach is also fully wheelchair accessible and safety is guaranteed by our lifeguards and the first-aid post.
A quality-certified beach
All-year round, users can enjoy shower and footwash facilities, dustbins, beach volleyball nets, wheelchair access and a pedestrian promenade. All of this in addition to the guarantee provided by regular water quality testing.
During the summer season, visitor services are enhanced adding wooden beach walkways, free public parasols, a tourist information point (Espai Voramar), flags indicating sea conditions, a street market, toilet facilities and a wide programme of sports and leisure activities.
For any kind of information visitors may contact the Tourist Information Office of Puçol.
Our beach also offers great housing possibilities, both during the summer and the rest of the year. The beach has currently over 1000 residents, of which 300 are primary home residents or part-time secondary home residents at least 5 months a year.

Our beach services

Puçol beach has currently over a thousand inhabitants all-year-round, of these a third are primary home residents. This growth in resident numbers is motivating an increase in infrastructures, services and activities, especially over the summer months.
Regarding transport, the beach has a municipal bus service all-year-round, which connects it to the town centre and housing estates. It can be reached by car via the Camí La Mar. Also on foot or by bicycle, via the Vereda Mangraners way, which is also used for agricultural purposes.
On the other hand, in July and August, the Espai Voramar is open, a centrally located building next to the Plaza Rosa dels Vents, where the beach’s Health Centre and the Tourist Info office are located, offering information to tourists and residents, and where you can also enjoy a permanent photographic exhibition: The birds of La Marjal, by Rafa Pardo.
In the summer period water quality testing is carried out, the wooden walkways and other urban furnishings are installed, the disabled accessible beach in the southern area is set up and the security and lifeguard services start operating. They are all essential to ensuring the beach can fly every year the three flags that guarantee its quality: the Blue Flag, the Q tourism quality flag and the Qualitur seal, the three most important certifications in terms of beach tourism quality internationally, nationally and regionally.
A few metres to the north of the beach there is a wetland, the Marjal dels Moros, which has been catalogued as a Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA). This wetland can be visited all year round and includes the nearby Community of Valencia Environmental Education Centre, of added interest for tourism and nature lovers.
All these services are completed with a wide-ranging programme of cultural, leisure and festive activities during the months of July and August, under the overall heading of Estiu Voramar. All of this in addition to the festivities organized by the cultural association Falla La Marjal in August.
In summary, Puçol beach is a tranquil space, where you can enjoy its Mediterranean climate and local cuisine all year round. In summer you will not be limited to the sun-lounger as the offer of cultural, sports and leisure activities multiplies.
